Bra Supplies Shops

To kickstart all the lingerie information I wanted to share a public list of my go to places to buy lingerie supplies.

I am positive that the succes rate of any lingerie garment depends on the right choice of materials, I have been victim of failed attempts because I chose the wrong elastic width or wrong stretch percentage thinking that it wouldn't make much difference, and oh boy was I in for a treat! haha.

When talking about bra supplies and shops always go for quality, you'll see the difference.

Knowing where to use what has been a game changer for me, and all these shops got everything to set us up for succes!

Favorite Bra Shops

North America

• Emerald Erin (Canada)

Erin's instagram is filled with a weekly bra challenge for inspiration and how-tos, her shop has absolutely everything needed to succesfuly sew your bras along a blog and sewing patterns.

• Tailor Made Shop (New York)

Ying is the ultimate bra connoisseur in my opinion. She carrys everything from kits, to fabric and her blog is packed with useful info to get deeper into the bra sewing rabbit hole, You'll LOVE IT.

• Bra Makers Supply (Canada)

Beverly Johnnson the one and only fairy bra mother know absolutely all about bra making. The best part about her shop is the books and patterns. So much info and knowledge. This is also where my most specific needs for specific supplies have been met.

• Sophie Hines (Nebraska, US)

All of the lingerie queen, she gifted me with the knowledge of sewing my very own period panties for which I am forever grateful. Her period panty kits are life changing, her blog has a tremendous amount of self discovery and sewing tips. Her sewing patterns are very beginner friendly and I can't recommend her enough.

México

• i-wey Textil (Cdmx, Centro)

When in Mexico, this shop is a must. I dare to say it is the best lingerie supply shop in the country. A space filled to the brim of all kinds of elastics, widths, fabrics and supplies.

• Distribuidora Textil (Cdmx, Centro)

In the heart of Mexico's downtown this store is an absoulte paradise of mesh and lace. Any color or width you can imagine is here. Mesh designs are gorgeous and you can buy wholesale or by the meter.

• Portofino (Cdmx, Centro)

This is more of a wholesale shop but quantities are managable, so maybe your could treat your whole family with an undergarment. The interesting thing here is additional to lingerie fabrics they carry control fabric and geometric laces, rather than the conventional floral lace only which is great.
